Insurance & Payment Options

We accept the following insurance plans: Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Tricare, IEHP, and Health Net. Here’s exactly what we take, how coverage typically works for allergy care, and what to do if you’re paying out of pocket.

This list is reviewed regularly, but plans change their networks without telling us. If you don’t see yours, call us anyway and we can help you check.

How coverage typically works

Allergy testing is usually covered like any other specialist visit, subject to your copay and deductible. Immunotherapy (allergy shots or drops) often needs prior authorization first — we handle that paperwork, not you. If your plan is an HMO, including IEHP, you may need a referral from your primary care provider or pediatrician before your first visit; PPO plans usually don’t require one.

When you book, our front desk can help check your benefits, including any referral requirement, and answer questions about what testing may cost against your deductible.

Self-pay & payment options

Uninsured or prefer to pay directly? Self-pay is welcome — call our front desk and we’ll go over what your visit and any testing are likely to cost before you book. We also accept HSA and FSA cards, and can talk through a payment plan for larger courses of treatment like immunotherapy.

Billing questions

Will I have a copay?

Most plans apply a specialist copay to allergy visits, the same as any other specialist. Your insurance card or plan can tell you your specific copay, and our front desk can help you check it.

Do you bill my insurance directly?

Yes. For every in-network plan we bill your insurance directly — you’re only responsible for your copay, coinsurance or deductible amount, not the full charge up front.

What if I’m uninsured?

Self-pay is welcome, and we can talk through a payment plan for anything beyond a single visit. Call us to ask about costs before you decide a visit is out of reach.

Can you help with prior authorization?

Yes — we handle prior authorization paperwork for immunotherapy and other treatments that need it.
